On day 3 we drove up in the bus and played tic tac toe. When we arrived, the rain was downpouring. We started the hike that day quickly so that we wouldn’t get cold just standing around. We got to the clearing that we did the tree hunt to find different kinds of trees. We used compasses and were given clues to the place the trees were located. Next, we continued the walk around the nature loop and did a tree auction. This is where you are given money and need to buy certain things that you think will make the ultimate tree. Finally, we got back to the lodge and loaded on the bus quickly to get back in time for the soccer games and to get out of the rain.
Human environment interactions
On day 3 the rain poured down on us as we walked the nature loop and found different kinds of trees using compasses as well as hints given from our guide. This impacted us by slowing us down enough that we didn’t get to finish the nature loop. However, we did finish the tree hunt in time. Although we also had an impact that day by eating Indian cucumber and moving rockets from one place to another.
